New Image: Vík Overlook

©jmillerphoto - Vík Overlook

Another new image on the site.  This is an overlook of Vík í Myrdal in southern Iceland.  When I see this image I think “Good Morning” because it was made after driving in the wee early hours of the morning and I enjoyed this view with a coffee in my hand.

Vík is a neat little village.  It is the first sizable village for probably 100km coming from the Reykjavík and perhaps even further coming from the east.  Good tourist services and lodging and one of the best gas station/restaurant combinations the Ring Road.  Off in the distance are the Reynisdrangar–3 basalt columns that are forever being worn down by the surf.

It is available in sizes up to 11×14.
